Pub Trivia
Pub Trivia is one of ONDA Boquete’s most structured weekly activities. It gives guests a fun, competitive team activity and creates a strong social moment in the bar when it is hosted well.
Purpose
Pub Trivia exists to create a fun group competition that gets guests talking, teaming up, and staying engaged through the evening.
For volunteers, this is one of the most important hosted nights because it requires:
- preparation before guests arrive
- active hosting
- team organization
- clear instructions
- smooth pacing
What it is
Pub Trivia is a team-based trivia night with 4 rounds total:
- 3 question rounds
- 1 music round
In the music round, songs are played and guests write down:
- the artist
- the song title
Teams compete against each other for the winning score.

Volunteer responsibilities
Before trivia:

Check that you have:
- enough pens
- printed team sheets
- Promote the event before it starts
- Help guests form teams
- Encourage solo guests to join an existing team
During trivia:
- Host the game
- Read from the template
- Improvise where helpful, while keeping the game organized
- Keep the tone competitive but fun
- Run all 4 rounds clearly
- Play the music round properly
- Collect answer sheets
After trivia:
- Score everything at the end
- Announce the winners
- Make sure each member of the winning team receives one free drink
