Bartending Volunteer - ONDA Playa Grande

Overview

The Bartender Volunteer is a key part of the ONDA guest experience. This role is for someone who is friendly, hard-working, and comfortable in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment. As part of the bar team, you help create a welcoming atmosphere while supporting efficient, positive service.

This is not just a drinks role. It is also a hospitality role. Guests should feel comfortable, noticed, and well looked after in the bar and surrounding social spaces. This position is voluntary and compensated with room and board.

Role Summary

The Bartender Volunteer supports daily bar operations by serving guests, taking orders, keeping the bar clean and stocked, and contributing to the energy of the space. You are part of the guest-facing team and are expected to represent ONDA well through both your service and your attitude.

What You'll Do

You'll arrive on time to your shifts ready to work, learn, and contribute. During service, your focus is on the guest experience: greeting customers, making them feel welcome, explaining the concept or service style when needed, taking orders, and serving drinks in a timely and friendly way.

You'll also work closely with your teammates to keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked throughout the shift. Additional responsibilities may include shift checklist tasks and other reasonable bar-related responsibilities assigned by the bar manager.
